Harold J. Kaplan, MD, FACS Facial Plastic Surgeon |
Plastic Surgeon Dr. Harold J. Kaplan
Specializing in surgical and
non-surgical cosmetic procedures of the face and neck only, Dr. Kaplan
is an expert whose reputation is highly recognized among his peers. He
has performed thousands of these procedures and performs them regularly.
His expertise, technical skill, and extensive experience make him a
leader in his field. A Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at
UCLA, he has taught facial plastic surgery to resident physicians for
more than 25 years.

Choosing a surgeon who is exceptionally well-qualified and experienced is critical to a good outcome. Dr. Kaplan is Board Certified in both Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery. He is one of a small, elite group of surgeons who has met the rigorous standards of two medical boards: the American Board of Otolaryngology (ABO) and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS), and subscribes to the ABFPRS Code of Ethics. Board Certification is an earned designation in the medical field that represents having met exceptional educational and practice standards within a particular specialty.
The surgeon you choose should be one you can relate to and one who answers your questions. With his patient-centered approach, Dr. Kaplan is very easy to talk with and gladly answers any questions patients may have.
